Canberrans set to sweat this Saturday to save lives

Here at Lifeline Canberra, we are excited for our first ever Icon Water ‘Sweat for a Call’ Bootcamp.

The Bootcamp is a great opportunity for Canberrans to move their body, come together as a community, and enjoy the beautiful spring weather Canberra has finally turned on. Which means we all need to be mindful of staying hydrated, and thanks to Icon Water there will be plenty of water for everyone.

For the cost of a life-changing Lifeline call ($26), Bootcampers will be put through their paces with Club Lime personal trainers. Come and see our community literally sweat for a call, and join them as we raise community spirit and wellbeing, all while supporting a great cause.

Media opportunities:

  • Lifeline Canberra CEO Carrie-Ann Leeson will be available for media comment.
  • Local Canberra Mascots: Gymmy from Club Lime, Brumby Jack, Hydration Girl and Drain Sherriff from Icon Water, Prime Possum and Sarge from the Canberra Calvary will be in attendance providing great footage and photo opportunities.
  • Lifeline Canberra Ambassador Melissa Breen, Australia’s fastest female, will be onsite and will be available for interviews and photo/footage opportunities.

When: Saturday 3 November. Two classes – 8.30am serious bootcampers and 9.30am all ages welcome.

Where: University of Canberra, Oval 6

Cost: $26 the cost of one life-changing Lifeline calls (kids 16 years and under are free)
