Women of Spirit

Since 2006, Lifeline Canberra has celebrated incredible women in the ACT and surrounding regions, through the annual Women of Spirit Awards.

The Awards recognise women who have triumphed over personal adversity and gone on to make a positive contribution to our community, while inspiring others to do the same.

Each year we ask members of the Canberra community to nominate an inspirational woman in their lives. We hold an elegant Awards luncheon to acknowledge nominees and finalists and to announce Award recipients.

The Awards have grown substantially over the last few years and are now bigger than ever before, with over 300 people in attendance. With the growth of the Awards, we are now able to celebrate more and more remarkable women.
