We are extremely thankful to all those who have reached out over the past few months and soon we will be able to open donations back up. Please keep up to date via this page and donating books for announcements. Once again thank you for supporting Lifeline Canberra.
Lifeline Canberra’s Bookfairs raise a major portion of the funding needed to keep our local crisis support service running.
Our Bookfairs are the largest gathering of book-lovers in Canberra!
We have a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books, including rare books and collectables, children’s books, textbooks and foreign language books. You’ll also find magazines and pamphlets, sheet music, comics, maps and atlases, talking books, records and CDs, DVDs, games and jigsaws.
Entry to the Lifeline Canberra Bookfairs is by gold coin donation.
If you have a large donation from a house or book shop clearance, school or church fete or unwanted school library books could you please call the Lifeline Canberra office on (02) 6171 6300. Lifeline Canberra can arrange for our donations courier to come and collect your donations – which need to be left outside either under porch, in the carport or near the front door. To ensure the safety of everyone our donations courier will not be entering your house for collection.
If you are feeling unwell and have organised a collection please be sure to call our office to reschedule the pick-up. The health and safety of our staff and volunteers is essential during this uncertain time.
